What happens at the fourth level?
Pranayama (yoga breathing exercises)
Dear Friend, congratulations on entering the fourth level of Sina holistic Yoga. Now you are ready to enter a new world by completing intermediate-level yoga movements, increasing strength in muscles, and raising the energy level in exercises. Breathing and life both evoke life. And these two begin together and end together. At this level, by performing the movements of the triangle family, twist, boat, and center, you prepare the space between the ribs and the diaphragm for better functioning of the lungs and improved breathing. By experiencing cleansing and alternating breaths, you will experience a subtler level of yoga and your being.
Pranayama and yoga breathing exercises are reminiscent of yoga metaphorical topics such as nadis(energy channels), chakras (energy cycles), or prana.
Many believe that through the function of breathing, energy centers and chakras organize the flow of energy and prana in subtler bodies. Some functions of the sympathetic nervous system are managed by the chakras through the nadis.
We need to explain, as mentioned earlier, that the function of the chakras in the body occurs more smoothly and depends solely on managing balance in life. This includes exercise, asanas, pranayama, meditation, healthy emotional relationships, adequate sleep, and sufficient activity to maintain the chakras in moderation. Things like chakra therapy, adjusting the chakras, opening the chakras, etc. are not correct.
